Julia
Age: 24
Country: Germany
Hi! My name is Julia and I am doing my Masters in Media Management in Hannover. Originally I am from a very small village between Bremen and Bremerhaven - so I grew up on the countryside. Before moving to Hannover I did my Bachelor in Sociology at University of Bremen.
I always liked learning languages and started with English and French when I was in school. I never liked French a lot, so I was glad when I had the chance to switch to Spanish and I noticed that I really like it. But after moving, studying and other stuff, I kept forgetting the language. After finishing my Bachelor, I was sure that I needed to go on exchange in my Masters because I kind of regretted that I never went. And for sure: Spain! I really like the Spanish culture which is kind of "easy going" and different from Germany, also it is pretty close and moreover, this was the perfect chance to improve my Spanish!
Here in Spain I try to get to know the country as well as possible. I travel around to the big cities and go hiking in the area around Pamplona with my nice inter cambio partner Marta :) In my free time here in Spain I love hanging out with my roomies here (Paige is one of them by the way), I just started a Spanish yoga class and I finally learn how to use the manual mode of my camera in my photography class.
Usually in my free time at home I like hanging out with friends, reading and trying to get better at Modern Dance.
