When to go on Erasmus?
It depends from uni to uni but mostly it is advised to go at any point between your third and fifth semester in you Bachelor or your third or fourth in your Master. If you want a very relaxed Erasmus experience with a lot of party you´re better off going at a later point of your studies so you don’t have to take a lot of classes. Otherwise it doesn´t really matter when you go – it will be great anyways!
Whom to go with?
Our personal advice would be not to go with a friend. You meet so many people and it would be a waste not to embrace the opportunity to challenge yourself and find friends from scratch. Everyone is in the same situation of “Needing” friends so you won´t be alone for long.
On the other hand sharing this wonderful experience with someone you already know and like is great and if you don´t only stick to each other it might even be more fun to go together.
Wanting to go with you better half? Definitely, as long as you don´t become the weird couple that doesn´t talk to anyone else ;)
